Meeting Needs and Promoting Independence

Needs Assessment

Prior to joining Creative Serenity, each individual's needs are thoroughly assessed through consultation with the individual, their family, carers, and professionals. This helps us understand their abilities, preferences, and any support required.

Individualised Support Plans

Each individual has a tailored support plan outlining their goals, needs, and preferred routines. These plans are regularly reviewed to reflect progress and changing circumstances.

Skill Development

We support individuals in developing practical, social, and emotional skills to increase their confidence and independence, both within the centre and in the wider community.

Community Involvement

We encourage and support participation in the local community through exhibitions, and attending local events to help build confidence and social networks.

Promoting Choice and Decision-Making

We actively support individuals to express their choices and make decisions about their daily activities and care. This includes choosing what to do, who supports them, and how they wish to be supported.
